Step out of the hustle and bustle into the
peace and quiet of beautiful Haines, Alaska.
Your escape begins with a leisurely 4 hour cruise through the Inside Passage on board the ferry Malaspina. Upon arrival in Haines your guide will escort you on the 4 hour tour of your choice: kayaking, hiking, or sightseeing. In the evening relax in the historic Halsingland Hotel. Wake in the morning with a full day to unwind, explore the town and its museums, or add an additional guided tour. Your getaway comes to an end with a transfer back to the ferry and your return cruise through the Inside Passage to Juneau.

Kayaking--enjoy a seaside drive to Chilkoot Lake State Park. Board your sea kayak and glide silently along the shores of the lake. This pristine lake is uncrowded, and the scenery is spectacular. Paddle back to shore and enjoy a snack before driving back to Haines.
Guided hiking-- drive to Chilkat State Park to begin your hike. The trail winds through a pristine rainforest. After about one hour of walking, step out of the forest and into Moose Meadows, with spectacular views of the Rainbow and Davidson Glaciers. Relax and enjoy a deluxe picnic lunch in this spectacular setting before returning to Haines.
Sightseeing--Join us for a visit to some of Haines' best natural, cultural & historical hotspots, including Fort William H Seward, the first army base in Alaska; The Sheldon Museum, a hub of art, artifacts and memorabilia; The Hammer Museum; Alaska Indian Arts; and Extreme Dreams Art Gallery.
Wildlife Viewing--Eagles or bears or both, depending on the season. Your guide will take you where the wildlife viewing is the best. Enjoy spectacular scenery along the way.
